I created this card using the Workshop Your Way Sugar Rush Scrapbooking Kit.  I also used the Sugar Rush Cardmaking Thin Cuts Bundle to stamp the sentiments and diecut the doughnuts.  I love how easy this card came together with great papers, stamps and dies. I am loving this new Seasonal Expressions!  The papers are so much better in person than they look in the catalog.

HWBH-City Sidewalks

Welcome to the Hearts of the West Blog Hop!

This Blog Hop features Close to My Heart Consultants from all over Canada showing you their projects. This months challenge is the new City Sidewalks paper pack.

So as always, grab you beverage of choice and hop around the country with us.

I created this hexagon shaped box by following a great tutorial by Alexandra M on YouTube. This box was decorated using the City Sidewalks Scrapbook Kit.
Fresh Cut
 Cleaned up and Coloured

The Evergreen Tree was created by a full 12X12 sheet of willow cardstock (just over 150 branches) cut using the Flower Market cartridge, X shift flower-1. (used the fill page setting.)  I used a vivid green Shin-Han marker to cover up the white core cardstock.  Then I glued the branches to a plain triangle of cardstock.

The gifts where little tiny boxes made from scraps of the City Sidewalks paper pack. The tiny bows are made from ribbons in my stash and the two of the bows where made using metallic thread that my dear friend, Rondi, offered me when I worked on the project at her crop. The star on top of the tree is from the City Sidewalk Complements.
The sentiment is cut from cranberry cardstock using the Artistry cartridge, Holiday background. Then I used my shimmer brush to make it sparkle!
This Christmas my family will each get a gift in a hexagon box.
City Sidewalks was so fun to create with since all the papers coordinate so well and I also bought the coordinating cardstock too!

I used the Tied Frame pattern from the Originals book to make this card.  This card was so much fun to put together! I used Jeepers Creepers papers and some Jeepers Creepers Compliments plus the Enchantment ribbon pack.  The sentiments were from both Monstrous Halloween and Sugar Skull.

The Calypso paper pack arrived just in time to make a quick card for my brother and new sister-in law since they eloped last month! The blue on the sides is actually a zip strip from this paper pack. The stamp set used was from the May Stamp of the month.

Then I created a fun shaker card too! Calypso was fun to create with!  Thanks for stopping by! Now hop on over to Nancy Klein's Blog.

March has Easter this year and it is the perfect month to create with a
Using this Workshop Your Way Kit, I was able to make cards in my favorite style:

I used the Art Philosophy Cartridge to make double mats for the  adorable characters from Spring Critters stamp set then cut using Spring Critter Thin Cuts.  I use a zip strip or paper, shimmer trim and a thin washi tape to fill in the side of the card and have the edge of the double mat touch the shimmer tape.  These characters were all  colored with Shin Han markers.

This last card was made also using a cricut cut double mat.  Then I used Art Philosophy to make 1/2" layered flowers and the cute coordinated birds where fussy cut from the bird paper in the Workshop Your Way paper pack!

March also means that Stampganza is back!  You could get Spring Critters for free with this promotion!
